Transgender Advocates for Justice & Accountability (TAJA’s) Coalition’s mission is to end the genocide of transgender women of color. As an initiative led by transgender women of color, in partnership with community based organizations and local stakeholders, the efforts of TAJA’s Coalition have grown to a multi-prong anti-violence and violence intervention approach that includes media campaigns, education, direct services (including legal clinics and sponsorship of legal fees), leadership development, and participation in state and local legislation.

I decided to join HYPE because I'm passionate about the LGBTQ youth out there, and want to do my part to ensure they have a community of resources that they so desperately need. Knowing that I get to help make difference by collaborating with other inspiring, ambitious, brilliant and energetic LGBTQ young professionals is why I love HYPE!

I joined HYPE to collaborate with like minded LGBTQ leaders to help our community and support organizations that improve the lives of those who have been marginalized. Progress can’t be made unless we take action and HYPE is that first step.
